A Special Favourite - Pizza

We have made this pizza a few times. It follows all the cooking rules that the N's have created which means it is entirely homemade. Uses the law of 50/50. Has no processed food. It also only uses natural rock or sea salt. Also almost all the items come from the market exculsively. They also don't use dairy products with the exception of occassional eggs or goat's milk cheese. These rules will be discussed more later. This was last nights dinner. The dough recipe makes enough for 2 Pizzas. Pizza Dough 1 packet fast rising yeast 1 Cup of Water 4.5 Cups of Flour 1/4 Cup Sugar 2.5+ Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Sometimes a pinch of salt and some herbs are added such as Rosemary, Oregano, and Thyme. The sauce is made from stewed tomatoes. We just put some water in a pan and boil them until they are soft. Being sure to put in some olive oil, herbs, and few cloves or garlic. The topping changes but olive, onion, and mushroom is a good combination. The onions should be fried in olive oil first. The second pizza was made with pineapple, fresh spinach, aubergines lightly salted and fried with garlic and some herbs. You probably noticed herbs are key and are always added in. The order in which the cheese and toppings goes on. I usually like to put a bit of cheese down first then the toppings and have most of the cheese on top while Niels does the opposite toppings on top. Both are good. The last step is to bake at 190*C for about 30 minutes or until disired crispiness.

In The Beginning

We started with just some simple veggie ingredients and of course the ever important olive oil, herbs, spices, and flour. Out of these simple things we have made all sorts of wonderful food items. We hope to share with you the recipe for what we cooked each night for dinner.
